We are seeking a Music Therapist to provide services to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) within a day habilitation setting in Plano, TX. This position offers 25+ hours per week with an existing caseload, allowing you to step into an established program and begin providing services right away. Compensation

• Starting at $55/hour At BBTC, we specialize in helping adults with developmental and congenital disabilities increase independence, participation, communication, and overall quality of life. Music therapy services are designed to use evidence-based, individualized interventions to address functional goals while promoting engagement and meaningful participation. Music therapy interventions may target areas such as:
• Communication and self-expression
• Social interaction and participation
• Attention and engagement
• Emotional regulation and coping skills
• Cognitive and functional skills
• Motor skills and coordination
• Choice-making and self-advocacy

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Therapy from an accredited program
• Current MT-BC (Music Therapist-Board Certified) credential through the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
• Ability to develop and implement individualized, goal-directed music therapy interventions
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is preferred
